this sleek letter opener was designed by frank nichols for acme studios. he received his fine arts degree from art center college of design in pasadena, california and then began his graphic design career in dallas. however, in 1984, nichols moved to new york & has since worked for a number of leading graphic design and corporate identity firms. he has also designed a variety of products including crystal for steuben and baccarat, a one-handed watch for ole mathiesen, & puzzles for binary arts.
